Ashley "A.J" Jewell - Kandi Ex-Fiance of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Murdered

ATLANTA (AP) - The former fiance of a cast member from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burress" died Friday night after a fight outside an Atlanta strip club, and police said they had charged a man in his death.

Fredrick Richardson was charged with voluntary manslaughter in the death of Ashley "A.J." Jewell, who died from massive head injuries after the fight in the parking lot of the Body Tap Club.

Jewell was engaged to "Housewives" cast member Kandi Burruss until August. He appeared in several episodes of the television show, which follows the lives of metro Atlanta socialites.

Kandi Burruss, a Grammy award-winning songwriter who penned TLC's hit "No Scrubs," posted a message on her Twitter Saturday.

"im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone," wrote the 33-year-old Burruss, who was also was a member of 1990s R&B group Xscape. "I could never n a million years imagine this happening. please pray for AJ's children."

Jewell worked at the strip club, but they are not sure what caused the fight.

Richardson was in the hospital.  Another life cut short on Black on Black Violence.  RIP "A.J" May God Bless his Family & Kandi.

Kanye West Tantrum!

Kanye keeps giving people something to talk about. Over the weekend, Kanye performed at the Common & Friends Benefit Concert. There was a man eating some chicken backstage and apparently Kanye wanted some chicken too.

Instead of asking… He throws a temper tantrum!!!

Kanye was allegely upset over  not being offered food while in the dressing room backstage. After spotting a man eating chicken, Kanye blurted, “Why wasn’t I offered chicken? You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating… why am I not eating?”

When the waitress explained that he never asked for food, ‘Ye yelled, “Well, I’m asking now!” After receiving chicken, he allegedly proceeded to take a bite and then throw the rest in the trash. Meanwhile, the rapper’s beau Amber Rose, stood silent, while other celebrities backstage watched in awe.

Kanye being Kanye... (chirps!)

David Letterman "Black Mailed?!"

Joe Halderman, a 48 Hours producer, had been charged with attempted grand larceny between the period of Sept. 9 and Sept. 30.  Yes!  Halderman wanted $ 2 million dollars.   Letterman was having sex with the employees of the show! Hmmm.... Anyways he's Letterman, they got it underwraps! Moving Full Speed Ahead!

UPDATE: Derrion Albert of Chicago Beaten

Last week, 16 year old Chicago high schooler Derrion Albert was beaten to death by a dozen other teen boys that was shockingly caught on tape. The story swept the net and the nation and people were heart broken and outraged at what’s been happening in Chicago these past few years. A severe escalation in teen violence and gang related deaths is making national news. Now the White House has given an official statement about Derrion’s death:

“The reports and the video that we have seen on television is among the most shocking that you can ever see, the killing of an honor student … who’s beaten to death is — is chilling, chilling video,” [White House Correspondent] Gibbs said.

Obama discussed the incident in the Oval Office with top advisors on Wednesday, Gibbs said, adding that some kind of policy announcement could be expected shortly.

“This is something that the administration has been working on,” Gibbs said.

“This is not just a Chicago-specific problem. Obviously, youth crime and gang violence are something that this administration takes seriously.”

And First Lady Michelle Obama’s take:

The First Lady said in Copenhagen that one of the prime reasons she wanted Chicago to host the Games was to set an example for the city’s youth.

“We need all of our children to be exposed to the Olympic ideals that athletes from around the world represent,” she said.

“That’s what excites me most about bringing the Games to Chicago — the impact that it can have on the lives of our young people, and on our entire community.”

THE BEATING OF DERRION ALBERT.... "Gone Too Soon."

I'm very distraught... I can't put into words the pain, I'm feeling now!  This child beating senseless in Chicago.  This type of violence, I can't imagine.  My Stomach is in knots!   Derrion was only 16 yrs. old, the same age as my baby.  Oh God!  Derrion was a honor roll student, just a innocent by stander.  The kids are 16 yrs old up to 19 yrs old were the age of the kids that committed this crime.  We got to talk to our children, we got to reach out to our Black Youth.  We need to reach out to the Children in our Community.   I was picking up My Son from his Homecoming and saw a Group of Black Boys beat-down another Black Kid, I lost my breath for a moment in disbelief.  Did I mention this is a predominately white school, these kid was from another area.

I don't want to take the focus off of this Wonderful Life that was taken from Us!  This is a Topic that we will Take On Soon!  GOD BLESS DERRION & HIS FAMILY,  MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Our Very Own Fabulous Greta Pettis Holden Journey!

Greta Pettis Holden is a Native of Laurel MS. She resides there with her Family, her husband Ricky Holden which is My Classmate, and their wonderful kids. Greta grew up in a household of love which was displayed thru her Parents and the love they had for each other. Therefore she display the same love to her immediate Family. Greta have two Sibilings and she embrace her life and values with Grace & Fabulocity! Moving Right Alone to Our Interview.. Being said all of that Greta also attends college!

I asked her what inspired her to go to college?

Greta answered, " I’ve always wanted to go back to college and finish but never had the time but in 2006 I had a lot of Personal problems surrounding my Oldest Child. So to keep from worrying about him all the time, I decided to go back to College thinking that would take my mind off his situation."

Tammy, "Greta how long have you attended College?" Greta answered," Since 2006."

Tammy, "What’s your major, Greta?"

Greta , "Tammy I'm majoring in Computer Technology with Emphasis in Coding."

Tammy, "So, when will you graduate?" Greta, "Hopefully in 2010."

I asked Greta, what are your plans after college? Greta say hopefully to either find a job in Ins. Billing/Coding or get a step-up position where she work.

Tammy, "What is your challenge with college?" Here's what Greta had to say, " Being a fulltime mother & wife takes up all my free time and to top that! Being full time on my job is so tiring, but my job work with me by allowing me to attend. class during work hours on Tuesday and Thursday."

Tammy, "What is your advice to people who are struggling with the same situation?

Greta gave this advice, " Don’t ever give up on your Dreams, I made it my Mission/Goal to Graduate from JCJC no matter how long it took me or what People said about me being too old to go back to College."

Tammy commented, "Well said."

Tammy, "Do you get Support from your Family?

Greta, "Oh yes! My Husband pushes me to keep working hard and don’t give up my Goal of Graduating. Having the Support of My Family means the World to me because without their Support I don’t think I could make it through College. Even though it gets frustrating at times they always tell me to never give up."

Tammy, "Is it difficult to juggle all of the roles as the Mother, Wife, Friend, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin etc..?"

Greta,"It’s very difficult to juggle all those roles. I would love to hang out with my one of my bff Ladybug all the time or just come home and just relax with my Family. Instead I have to Cook, Clean, Study, Iron, and the list goes on, even though my Family chip in to help it’s never enough when you have 9 Roles you play in your Household."

Tammy, "What are some Inspiring Words you have for the Strong Women like yourself?"

Greta, “Don’t let life knock you down get back up and try and try again until you Succeed at whatever you do.”

Tammy, "What drives you?

Greta,"My two boys drive me, I want them to see me as not only being their Mother but a Strong Black Woman that has a Mission in Life to always Succeed in whatever I do."

Those are some Encouraging Words for everyone. If you're a Mother, Wife, Single Mom, Dad, Husband what ever your situation maybe, not to give up on your Dreams. If you are Determine...
