Where are "Our Black Babies!" Jus Asking!

Yes, I've noticed I don't see enough "black babies", "black women" pregnant.  We are really the minority now yall! 

We have our "Latino Women" producing... One thing about that culture they love loving and Family!  The Black Communities are Design for failure but that's another "topic" being said that, the Family Clinics are giving away "Birth Control".  Why?! Because we don't think. Be responsible, make our own decisions not have someone to make our decision for us.  The African Americans are getting smaller and smaller in this country. Go love one another to "Death" I mean have "Relations" (SEX) as much as possible to conceive.  I know! Done heard it before in the community.  Kids are expensive.. I can't afford Child Care... My Baby Daddy ain't there!  Excuses! Excuses!

There's assistance in this Country for Families, your tax dollars pay for it.  Our Black Men are stepping up and taking care of the Families.  Yes we have some that need a boost but no excuses. We really got to think outside the box. I think as a race it start with leading by example.  We have to look outside our circumstances.  The world is progressing but are we?  It's not a white thing are any other race, lets take them out the equation and focus on ourselves as a race/community.  We have to start with ourselves "Black People".  We do have work to do.  You know I have friends of different ethinic backgrounds, and I have had discussions on different situations.  My "Asian Friends" work together and most of them have their "family business".  My "White friends" sure thing!  They are doing well, no complaints.  My "Latino friends" working, entreprenuers, having babies.  My "Black friends" doing well, business owners, some kids, a kid, no kids... Some claim that they are not doing well at all... Complaining about this and that.. The lord this and that!  The same old same old... Hmmm But no Solutions, no effort!  I'm just saying or some call it "venting" Whatever! But it is what it is! Right!  Get pass the obstacles and work on bettering ourselves and being.

KIDS ARE BEAUTIFUL BEINGS.

just finsihed reading the article and came to the conclusion that the reason why there was hardly any coverage can be seen in the same light as how missing black children get hardly any publicity. For me it comes down to this:

1.) Race plays a huge factor in what the media decides to cover. Even though they say it doesn;t play any part in what they report it does to a certain extant. As the article points out with the Peterson, Chevy case they garnered national coverage while cases like this get no attention. It seems the only time the media wants to report on minorities is when we are doing something extremely wrong. How many times have you turned the news on to see some story about how a couple minorities killed themselves but if it is something positive they seem to only glance over it witout going in depth on some media outlets.

2.) Money: The media is all about what will make them money. Hate to say it but I find it to be true in most cases. Stories involving minorities hardly sell b/c a vast majority of people just don;t care. ... Read More

Michael Jordan's Son Involved in "Shoe Deal Fight!"

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A fight over the shoes Michael Jordan's son will wear at the University of Central Florida could cost the school as much as $3 million.

Freshman guard Marcus Jordan is refusing to wear shoes made by adidas, the brand the university has a contract with for all its sports. He says he will only wear his father's Nike Air Jordan shoes because it holds special meaning to his family.


The problem is UCF has a $3 million, six-year contract with adidas that requires coaches and athletes to use the company's apparel and equipment.

UCF said in a statement Thursday that adidas was aware of the situation during contract renewal discussions. The university says it is working with adidas "in determining how this unique set of circumstances will work for both parties."

Balloon Boy Family Under Investigation

The Heene Family is now under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration. Spokesman for the FAA Mike Fergus explains:




"This is unusual. But we investigate any air incident. The investigation is solely focusing on if we had any violations of our regulatory authority or regulations. This is a particularly peculiar [case] so I wouldn't even venture a guess what our legal department would do if it is found there was a violation."

The local authorities are already investigating Richard and Mayumi Heene for criminal behavior including influencing a public official and the delinquency of a minor.

Lamar & Khloe Sign PreNup!

Lamar and Khloe has come to an agreement and signed a prenup. Under the terms, Lamar will keep his $33 million Laker salary, but will fund a joint account and give Khloe an annual lump sum that remains untouched throughout the marriage.

Victoria Beckam to judge UK "So You Think You Can Dance?"

POSH the Fashion Diva is in talks to appear as a judge on the UK's new version of So You Think You Can Dance for one or two episodes.


She would be judging alongside Nigel Lythgoe, who serves as a judge for the show and Arlene Phillips, a choreographer who used to judge on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

Foxy Brown Prison Contoversy!

Three prison officials at Rikers Island jail have stepped down from their positions after reportedly allowing a promotional photo shoot for Foxy's new album while she was in prison! 2 other workers have already previously left their jobs because of the scandal.


Foxy has denied these claims saying:

"It was incarceration, not vacation. I only wore the designer clothing I was allowed to have. There were certain gang colors my sneakers couldn't be… I didn't have any special visitation rights."

KANYE WEST - WEST PULLS CONTROVERSIAL WEB PROMO

KANYE has pulled a controversial new video from his official website.


The Stronger rapper uploaded a 14-minute promo, titled We Were Once A Fairytale, featuring scenes of him cavorting with women in a club.

The video, played to West's track See You In My Nightmares, ends with the star involved in a sex scene, and then stabbing himself in the stomach to release an inner-demon.

But just hours after West previewed the footage - directed by Spike Jonze - the star removed it from his site and apologised to fans.

On his blog, he writes, "Sorry I had to take it down." I so love Kanye... He like such a kid at heart! to me... (chirps)

Whitney Houston Lesbian?!

There have been rumors of Whitney being a LesBo!  Well ex-hubby Bobby Brown has a tale tell all memior "The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But.." here's a little passage:

" [Their marriage] was doomed from the very beginning… I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children.

McNair Other Woman #2!

According to Nashville, Tenn. police, late NFL star Steve McNair, who was allegedly shot and killed by mistress Sahel Kazemi, was also having a relationship with Leah Ignagni (photo above) at the time of his death.


Leah Ignagni, the Nashville woman told police that a woman had been following her a few weeks prior to McNair's murder.

Ignagni recalled seeing a woman in a black Cadillac Escalade parked outside his condo two or three weeks before his murder.

Ignagni also said the woman followed her and that she later saw the Escalade circling her block or parked outside her apartment a week or two later.

A 2007 black Escalade was co-registered both to Sahel Kazemi and McNair.

A former roommate of Kazemi confirmed to police that Kazemi knew about McNair's other lover. The roommate "said that Kazemi told her that she (Kazemi) found a tampon in the bathroom wastebasket in the Lea Avenue condo, and on another occasion, saw a female leaving the condo," the police report states.

Leah Ignagni also revealed that McNair spent the night at Ignagni's apartment the night Kazemi was arrested on DUI charges. (See Kazemi DUI arrest video here).

Sahel Kazemi allegedly killed the retired quarterback and then herself on July 4, 2009. McNair was married and had four sons - Steve Junior, Steven, Tyler and Trenton. Mechelle McNair (photo below) - Mcnair's wife of 12 years is the mother of his two younger sons Tyler and Trenton.

Readers of the Investment Watchdog Newsletter often ask about investing in gold. They have seen or heard advertisements trying to sell gold. Salesmen quote figures that show that the price of gold has risen and will continue to rise. They also say that gold is a hedge against inflation. Let's examine those claims by looking at the chart below on the price of gold per ounce for the last year.

Has the price of gold risen? Yes, if November of 2008 is compared to the present price. There are several starting points on the graph that are lower than the present price of about $930 per ounce. But there are also several starting points on the graph that are higher than the present selling price, too. Investors buying in mid July 2008, April 2009, March 2009 and June 2009 would lose money if they sold at today's price. Investors buying the first week of July 2008 and selling exactly one year later in 2009 would get the same price they paid less their investment expenses. Just like every other investment, the price of gold varies, has risks and is nearly impossible to predict, no matter what salesmen claim.


Is gold a hedge against inflation? Again, look at the chart above. For the last year, the price of gold has been up, the price of gold has been down and the price of gold has been unchanged. It all depends on which starting point is compared to today's price. Inflation has been very low for the last year due to the recession. Consumers who don't have jobs or fear losing their jobs don't spend and push up the price of goods and services. And the present recession is expected to last many more months, which means inflation should stay low until the economy recovers. So if gold is a good investment in times of high inflation, is it a bad investment in times of low inflation? Not according to the chart. The price of gold is up and down while inflation has remained very low. So the price of gold and inflation are not directly related. It is true that the price of gold has gone up during periods of extreme or hyperinflation because investors buy gold for safety when there is a national or global crisis like war or government losing power, but inflation is definitely not the only reason that the price of gold changes.

Gold is a commodity, meaning that is has commercial uses. Therefore supply and demand affect the price of gold. Gold is consumed when jewelry is made, sometimes in denistry and also has commercial uses in industry as an excellent conductor in the electronics industry. All uses of gold combined constitute a total demand. The supply of gold is determined by gold mining. Both supply and demand of gold can vary greatly depending on market conditions, affecting the price of gold. So the price of gold is not determined solely by inflation. Just like everything else, the price of gold is determined by supply and demand.

There are several ways to invest in gold. Probably the most expensive way is to buy physical gold. Raw gold has to be assayed to determine its purity. It has to be shipped. It has to be stored. It has to be insured. It has commissions due to the salesman. All these expenses add a high percentage of the price of gold and either reduce profits or add to losses for the investor. Another way to invest in gold is to buy foreign coins made of pure gold. Some of these coins sell for very near the value of the gold contained in them, but some of them have a high markup compared to the price of gold contained in each coin. Another way to invest in gold is to buy gold mining stocks. Usually the price of gold mining companies goes up or down in sync with the price of gold. There are also gold mutual funds and gold exchange traded funds available for investors.

So gold is available readily in many forms. But it is not guaranteed to increase in value and it is not solely a hedge against inflation as salesmen would have novice investors believe. Remember the old joke about "Figures don't lie, but liars figure?" Apply that wisdom if you are considering buying gold. Gold is a volatile, speculative way to invest. If you decide to buy gold, be sure to compare investment expenses and diversify into other classes of assets, like stocks, bonds or real estate. Consider limiting gold to no more than 4% of your net worth just as you would any other individual stock. Don't become a victim of sales pitch with your life savings.

Anyways Wolf Blitzer on CNN was interviewing the family after finding Falcon at home in a box in the attic!
